NIC Local’s dedicated cleaning team at Neville’s Cross Primary School has been recognised for their outstanding efforts after stepping in to help during a flooding incident at the school.
Following an unexpected and severe flood that affected parts of the school, members of the NIC Local cleaning team immediately went above and beyond their normal duties to support staff and minimise disruption.
As large volumes of water poured into the building, particularly impacting the Early Years area, the cleaning team quickly sprang into action. Armed with mops, buckets and a determination to help, they worked tirelessly alongside school staff to control the flooding, remove water and protect the learning environment.
In a message of thanks sent to NIC Local, school representatives praised the team’s remarkable response:
“The cleaning team jumped straight in to help. They were bailing water out of Early Years and had the mops out trying to control what was an insane amount of water running into school. Please can you pass on our most sincere thanks and appreciation. They were absolutely spectacular and we are so grateful for all their help. It was a huge team effort from everyone involved – they just jumped in and got on with it.”
The incident highlights the commitment and professionalism that NIC Local teams demonstrate every day across schools and educational settings throughout the UK. While their primary role is to maintain clean, safe and hygienic environments, this extraordinary response showcased their willingness to support clients during unexpected incidents.
NIC Local Regional Director, Subrina Dhindsa, said:
“We are incredibly proud of the team at Neville’s Cross Primary School. Their quick thinking, teamwork and willingness to go the extra mile embody the values of the NIC Local team. Receiving such positive feedback from the school is a testament to their dedication and professionalism.”
NIC Local would like to thank the team for their exceptional efforts and continued commitment to delivering outstanding service for clients across the education sector.
