I am Matthew Sammons, a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the cleaning industry. I am one of the country’s longest-serving NIC Local Regional Directors, and since 2011 I have been dedicated to providing exceptional contracted cleaning services to businesses across the North East region. I have spanned multiple sectors and acquired diverse knowledge in the process. With 90 contracts in the North East, I oversee sites of varying sizes, from those with 30+ cleaners, to smaller contracts with one staff member.
Based in Gateshead, my offices serve as the hub for our industry-leading services, which extend throughout the entire region. Supported by a team of professionals, including an Operational Manager, Area Support Manager, Officer Manager, and eight full-time mobile cleaning supervisors, I ensure our clients receive top-notch service and attention to detail.
Before my role at NIC Local, I managed several bars and clubs in the hospitality industry, honing my adaptability and customer service skills. Having experienced the frustrations of unreliable cleaning services first-hand, I made it my mission to create a team of dedicated professionals that businesses could rely on. Myself and my team have established a reputation for excellence in the industry through a commitment to innovation, communication, and ultra-reliability.
