A global pharmaceutical customer has shared warm praise for the work NIC Local has delivered following a recent standards and GMP cleaning review across two of its UK locations.

The review took place as part of the process to unify cleaning services under one provider. The customer highlighted the quality of the transition and the consistent improvement in service now being delivered across both sites.

The changes followed a period of operational integration, where NIC took responsibility for a newly added location while continuing to manage an existing one. The pharmaceutical customer noted that the uplift in performance had been clear from the outset. The review confirmed that processes, documentation and daily service delivery were all aligned with GMP expectations, with inspectors commenting on the visible improvements in housekeeping, organisation and site standards.

A spokesperson for the business said the smooth integration of the new location was a significant achievement. They added that the confidence demonstrated by the previous contractor’s team, who transferred to NIC, had played a key role in the successful mobilisation. Feedback from those team members was described as very positive, with many expressing that they felt supported, well trained and encouraged to contribute ideas. The Head of Property for the customer shared a personal note of thanks. He acknowledged the work delivered during the mobilisation of the new site and the improvements seen since NIC took responsibility for the contract. He stated that the praise received from the transferring team reflected the professionalism and care shown throughout the transition. He also recognised the ongoing improvements at both locations, particularly within a GMP environment where attention to detail and consistency are essential.
