NIC Local, part of the NIC FM Services Group, is proud to support the sponsorship of the Yorkshire Tennis Visually Impaired League, which will now officially be known as the NIC Yorkshire Visually Impaired Tennis League.

The league began its inaugural season in April, marking an important step forward in promoting inclusive sport and creating opportunities for visually impaired athletes across Yorkshire.

Designed to provide a fun, welcoming and competitive environment, the league demonstrates that tennis, and sport more broadly, should be accessible to everyone. By breaking down barriers and encouraging participation, the league is helping more visually impaired players enjoy the physical, social and competitive benefits of sport.

Paul Faulkner, Group Marketing Director at NIC FM Services Group, said:

“We’re delighted to support the NIC Yorkshire Visually Impaired Tennis League. At NIC, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to participate in and enjoy sport. This league is a fantastic example of inclusivity, determination and community spirit in action, and we look forward to following the players’ achievements throughout the season.”

David Wallace from Yorkshire Tennis added:

“With the league now officially the NIC Yorkshire Visually Impaired Tennis League, we can continue to demonstrate that tennis truly is a sport for everyone.”

The NIC Yorkshire Visually Impaired Tennis League celebrates skill, resilience and inclusion, while creating a platform for players to compete, develop and enjoy the game.
